     Tom Euler is an award-winning singer/songwriter and accomplished guitarist, whose powerful and thoughtful playing style has quickly led to him becoming known as “the young guy with the old soul.” The blues/rock musician from Virginia, is making a name for himself as front man of the Tom Euler Trio and Tom Euler Band, and formerly as lead guitarist for the Bobby Blackhat Band.  Euler, whose progressive blues sound and high energy performances has people talking, has had the good fortune to share the stage with such great blues artists as Tas Cru, Memphis Gold, Jackie Scott, Bobby Messano, and Sherman Holmes.  He counts playing the 2016 Finals of the IBC at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis as a highlight of his young blues career.  

     More recently, Euler has enjoyed opening for Davy Knowles, Delbert McClinton, Ramsey Lewis and Patty LaBelle, as well as Thompson Square and DNCE.  He traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to attend the Josie Music Awards in the fall of 2017, where he was named the winner of the 2017 "Multi-Genre Musician of the Year" Josie Music Award for the U.S. and Canada.  Euler received three 2018 nominations and was invited to perform at the 2018 Josie Music Awards which was held at Dollywood's Celebrity Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  Euler was also named  "Male Artist of the Year in Jazz/Blues/Soul" at the 2018 JMA's.  The Josie Music Award program is the world's largest music awards show for independent artists.  Earlier in 2018, the Tom Euler Band earned a spot in the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.  Euler's music can be heard on Pandora and Spotify.  After the success of his 2016 EP, he released his first full length CD in 2019.  Euler's "Blues Got My Back" full-length CD was received with great reviews and is listed as one of the Roots Music Report's Best Blues Albums of 2019!    "Blues Got My Back" went on to garner a 2020 Independent Blues Award Nomination as well.  For more information, go to www.tomeuler.com.

Biography - The Tom Euler Trio

The Tom Euler Trio is a progressive blues/rock group from Virginia that is known for their high energy and thoughtfully written songs.  Often called the “young man with an old soul”, Euler takes influence from such guitarists as JP Soars, Luther Allison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, and B.B. King along with many other greats across all genres of music.  Euler is a 2016 International Blues Challenge Finalist as well as winner of the 2017 “Musician of the Year for the United States and Canada” Josie Music Award.  The JMAs is the largest independent music awards show in the world and is held annually in Nashville, Tennessee.

For the Tom Euler Trio, Euler has assembled buddies Wes Mallory on bass and “Smiling” Max Parker on drums.  The three middle peninsula, Virginia  friends have played casually for years together before performing for audiences.

For his four-piece band, Euler has assembled the talents of veteran players Michael Behlmar (drums) and Von Jose’ Roberts (bass) to create a formative rhythm section.  The lovely and talented Lucy Kilpatrick on keyboards adds expertise and finesse, helping the Tom Euler Band to raise the bar for up and coming blues  and blues/rock artists.  The band recently placed in the semi-finals of the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.
